The Skinny Pig

Flatbreads are on the rise for good reason, they're delicious, easy to customize and lots of people like them. Skinny Pig is a highly awaited restaurant opening from Chef Josh Campbell who runs Mayberry restaurant in Downtown Cincinnati.

I popped in the Friday after they opened and sampled some of their foods.

This is the mushroom pate flatbread. I love the texture of the blue corn flatbreads which are really hearty and crunchy. I loved the mustard flavor of t he sauce on this one.



Next was the pork flatbread which had a wonderful cilantro chutney on top. I do love my chutneys. Additionally was a wonderful salad with apple and a great housemade dressing.



They were in a mad craze as it was their first week. I expect any kinks will be worked out in the coming weeks. I hope to go back soon and see what else they have going on. I'll be better prepared with a 6 pack of beer or a bottle of wine.
