Quartino

I love Quartino so much. It's easy to see why when you arrive, there are plenty of other people who love Quartino as well. It's a hot spot in Chicago and a reservation helps out a lot but doesn't guarantee that you will be seated immediately. It's a buzz of commotion and talking when you're at your table. Quartino is one of those places where you can barely hear what your table is saying.

We had really great service and we decided on a salumeria plate consisting of various olives both cured and non, roasted beet salad, salamette, proscuitto di parma, duck proscuitto and various semi-soft cheeses. Our server recommended a great wine to go with our choice and it was a good price as well. Quartino's wine selections are not only varying and fantastic but you can get almost anything by the glass at about 3 - 5 dollars a glass, or you can order by the liter. Giving you the opportunity to try new things.

On other visits I've had their pastas and pizzas which are delicious and insanely fresh. This is definitely one of my favorite Chicago restaurants.
