Cupcakes? Yes please. I am not a cake fan. I don't dislike it. But I also don't eat it every time it's near. I went out of my way to drive to Sugar for vegan cupcakes for a certain vegan's birthday. Wiser folks would have ordered ahead of time and secured a flavor of their choosing. Not me, I left it all up to the last minute and all they had left was lemon. Which were delicious and received no complaints.
I got some regular cupcakes for myself and my husband. Chocolate coconut and vanilla bean. The vanilla bean was delicious and the icing was my favorite part. Buttery and creamy. MMMM! I can't wait to try their chocolate pancetta. Yes I am serious.
They will set you back about $3.25 a piece and it was worth it for the city's only organic bakery with vegan flavors.
