Spagio

After Cirque du Soleil we went to Spagio for dinner. We got a bit turned around in our directions but we made it in plenty of time.

Pretty little rolls of wheat and french bread with butter and/or olive oil.

Here's the crab cake with arugula, tomato compote and the remoulade sauce cream base on the bottom. This was delicious. Very meaty chunks of crab and the tomato compote added with the remoulade sauce was a great contrast.

This giant thing is the beet napoleon  with layers of delicious goat cheese between it and a small circle of walnuts with a side arugula salad. Not only was it huge but delicious. I love beets.

Here you have what's known as a "beef revelation", kobe beef braised short rib with wonderful marscapone cheese polenta and braised root veggies. This was an enormous portion of 2 large pieces of spare rib.

Here's the duck breast with red cabbage and a little bread dumpling. Again, huge portions! Ann really enjoyed the duck and could not begin to finish it all in one sitting.

If you're in Columbus and in the mood for a hearty portion of food to go with your extensive wine list choice try Spagio, you won't regret it.
