We dragged our friend Phil down to Tombstone with us and he endured it with good humor. We arrived at nearly sundown which bummed me out a bit. I wanted to see more of the sights in the day time. Like when else am I going to see Boot Hill? So we decided to go on a nighttime Murder Ghost Tour so we had some time to kill. (get it, murder...kill... nevermind) We ended up at Crystal Palace upon some good recommendations of the townspeople. Your servers are decked out in old-timey showgirl dresses that would have been in fashion when Doc Holiday was around. I ordered a sirloin steak and Pat had a ribeye. Both were well cooked and served with smashed potatoes and creamed corn. Their creamed corn was really tasty. It tasted freshly made. The potatoes were really good as well. The steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Phil had a nice sized burger and thought it was good.
Sitting in an environment with such history just kinda made us want to drink some whiskey. But we did not. All in all Crystal Palace is good, affordable food in a really unique environment!
