Maggiano's

Do you like pasta? Do you like Frank Sinatra? Do you like those 2 things together? Then Maggiano’s is for you! They are overtly promoting that rat pack, retro, classic feel in their restaurants. Hardwood paneling everywhere, waiters have the reallllllly long aprons that reach the floor almost. Makes me wish I had NOT worn flip flops….

Oh well. . We got their fried mozzarella which was great! You can taste that it’s obviously fresh cheese. The marinara is good, also tasted fresh, not too salty.

I had the garlic shrimp linguine – pretty tasty! I love shrimp all swaddled up in garlicky, potato-y goodness.

Pat had the lasagna and enjoyed it very much. Very large portion, sauce, again was fresh tasting and slightly sweet. Good stuff!

So if you can get past Frank and all the boys from the old days… then you’ll be fine.
